Effective from 18 April 2024

By using this platform you agree to these terms of use, whether with a registered account or an anonymous inventory (insofar as the terms relevant to the limited functionality provided to anonymous inventories).

User Conduct

You will remain civil and respectful towards all people in your usage of this platform, including when directly talking to other users as well as when talking about or making reference to other people or groups.

You will act in good faith in both listing offered items and proposing/negotiating/executing trades, in that you are not misrepresenting your ownership of these items and/or your authority and ability to transfer these items to counterparties within a reasonable timeframe.

You will not create multiple accounts or personas in order to deceive potential counterparties, eg fabricating a successful trade history to establish false credibility.

You will not impersonate, or make false claims to have associations with, any person/group/organisation which you do not have the authority to, in order to deceive potential counterparties.

You will not utilise this platform to conduct, enable, or encourage illegal activity.

You will abide by the intended logic, processes, and security of this platform, and will not bypass or modify code in order to circumvent any of the controls enforcing these.

At the discretion of VennSwap, if there is sufficient evidence found that you have acted contrary to these terms (or any other harmful action not already specified) it may result in action being taken against your account to limit or terminate service.

Platform Service

A user is solely responsible for maintaining the security of their own password and email for access to their account (or private edit key/link for an anonymous inventory), as such VennSwap is not responsible for unauthorised account access caused by this.

VennSwap is not liable for any negative impacts or losses to a user caused by actions of another user on this platform.

The functionality of this platform is provided as-is, with no warranty or uptime guarantee.

Account/inventory/trade/message data is owned by the user, and VennSwap upholds users' agency in the management of their data. Privacy Information

VennSwap owns the collation of item tag/type data in the structured form it takes within the data model of this platform, but does not claim IP ownership over any brands/trademarks/names/etc which are referenced, where the intended use is only to describe these things as they exist in the real world as owned by their respective owning entities.

'VennSwap' as used in these terms refers to the owner of this platform.

VennSwap may amend these terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of this platform after amendment is an agreement to these new terms from the date indicated at the top of this page.
